Neath Town Council continue their support to maintain School Crossing Patrol Officers

Parents of children who attend schools in the Neath area will be comforted to learn that the Town Council have now appointed a School Crossing Patrol Officer at the Melin Primary School location.
With the recent appointment of Sara Bridges, it supports the Town Council’s commitment to keep children travelling to school safe while crossing busy roads.
Cllr. Mark Protheroe, Neath Town Mayor added “The Town Council are proud to be able to continue to fund the school crossing patrol officers in these very busy areas. The vacancy at Melin has now been filled by Sara and she is a great asset to the community. The continued funding of the three school crossing patrol officers in our wards confirms that the Town Council are continuing to ‘work for the community’.
