On Monday 23 March 2020 the Government issued new guidance on how much time we are to spend outside and where we are allowed to visit.

Neath Town Council allotments are currently open.

Allotment holders are reminded to please follow the social distancing guidance when at their allotment.

When using communal gates, padlocks, tools and taps, please make sure you wear gloves at all times and clean your hands as soon as you can.

Visiting the site constitutes your daily exercise set out by the government.

We have two sites in the Neath Town Council boundary. Our largest site in Fairyland and a smaller site in Old Road, Melin, Neath. Both our allotment sites are very popular and there is a growing demand for allotments in the Neath Town area. We are continuing to determine ways to release the pressure on the long waiting lists currently in place. To place your name on a waiting list for an Allotment, please contact Sarah Williams.

We regret that we are unable to accept applications from people living outside the Neath Town Council community tax area.

The National Society of Allotment and Leisure Gardeners Limited provides information and advice regarding allotment cultivation etc.
