Councillor Corner

Cllr. Keith Finn

Physiotherapist. Yoga teacher. Yoga therapist. Wellbeing practitioner. ADHD coach. Community volunteer. And Town Councillor

Keith Finn dw i. A dw i'n byw yn Old Road.

Originally from the North of Ireland, I have lived in Wales since 2007. I came to study physiotherapy in Cardiff and have been working for the NHS ever since. I've lived in Neath now for nearly half my time in Wales, and I love it.

I was originally elected as part of the Labour party, and now sit as an independent.

I've been inspired by the people around me to get involved in locally - like volunteering with FAN, joining in with the Eaglebush litter pick, helping others start an orchard at the Galv, supporting the MCT, even helping organise the Neath Green Festival. I never would have done any of these before. It feels good to get involved - it's ok to pick one thing, or help occasionally when life and head space allow - that's my experience.

Please contact me if you want to:

- talk about anything town council (including anything on the agenda, or something you'd like to put on the agenda);

- find out about how to become a town councillor (It's not a difficult process to put yourself forward, but it is mysterious);

- get involved in a regular Melin litter pick;

- talk about any ideas you have for improving life in Melincryddan and Neath.

I love to see people getting involved - coming to meetings; asking questions; enjoying NTC organised events. Everything is better when more people participate. So, if there's anything I can do to help you do that - phone or text 07790 369465 or email me on keithfinn@hotmail.com.

Say hello. Join in. Be the change.
