NEATH TOWN COUNCIL MAYORESS CHRISTMAS GIFT APPEAL 2019
As the Mayor and Mayoress of Neath Town Council, we are very proud to be at the forefront of this wonderful charity appeal. The Mayoress and I, together with the Ladies of the appeal committee, are seeking your help to secure gifts for the underprivileged children within the Neath area this Christmas. Your generosity in previous years, has gone such a long way to ensure that these children have a main present and a stocking to open on Christmas morning, without which, they would have had nothing.
Throughout the year the Mayoress Appeal Ladies also hold fundraisers, raffles, concerts, cake sales etc and we are so very grateful for the help and support we get from the businesses, churches and general public of Neath.
The boundary extends to Cimla, Llantwit, Neath Town, Pencaerau and Melyncrythan, (as far as the Old Grandison Hotel) so we have a lot of planning, shopping and packing to get done between now and Christmas week.
We accept new toys for children from birth – 16 years of age, or donations at our offices in Orchard Street.
Any cheque donations should be made out to Neath Town Council Mayoress Gift Appeal.
Should you require any information, please contact the Mayor’s Secretary, Mrs Lyn Rawle (lynda.rawle@neathtowncouncil.gov.uk) or telephone 01639 642126 during office hours.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for your continued support.
Yours sincerely
Councillor Bob Price and Mrs Sara Price
