Neath Castle 'light up' Initiatives

Unfortunately, we’re no longer able to ‘light up’ Neath Castle for numerous charitable organisations and awareness campaigns which we support throughout the year. This is due to two recent incidents of vandalism at the site. The area has been accessed at the rear of the Castle by removing the perimeter fence, climbing the Castle walls and using the wall coping stones to destroy the floodlights.

We are working with the Police to find the best solution to protect the Castle. If you could help us by reporting any suspicious activity in this area via 999 or 101, this would be extremely helpful. Please help us to protect this vital part of Neath’s heritage.
